The ASIS Foundation is offering a CPP or PSP Scholarship to one of our members! 

The CPP Scholarship has been set-up as a CPP Accelerator Program. This scholarship is intended for those who are ready for, or applying for, the CPP or PSP exam. One winner from each Chapter will be selected to win a voucher to apply for the CPP or PSP exam for free! The winner MUST qualify per the certification guidelines (posted below for reference), as well as be a member in good standing with both ASIS International, and ASIS Chicago.

The application period will be from Monday, October 7th, until Friday, October 25th. To participate for a chance to win, please fill out the below application form, and send the completed form to [email protected].

Applications will be reviewed after the application deadline, and all will be notified of the results by email. We look forward to everyone’s submissions!

Eligibility

CPP Certification Guidelines

Nine (9) years of security experience*, at least three (3) years of which shall have been in responsible charge* of a security function

OR

Earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education and have seven (7) years of security experience*, at least three (3) years of which shall have been in responsible charge* of a security function.

AND

• Be employed full-time in a security-related role
• Not have been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on the security profession, ASIS, or the certification program
• Sign and agree to abide by the ASIS Certification Code of Conduct
• Agree to abide by the policies of the ASIS Certification programs as outlined in the Certification Handbook.

PSP Certification Guidelines

Four (4) years of progressive experience in the phsyical security field and a bachelor degree or higher from an accredited instituation of higher education

OR

Six (6) years of progressive experience in the physical security field and a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or associate degree

AND

• Be employed full-time in a security-related role
• Not have been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on the security profession, ASIS, or the certification program
• Sign and agree to abide by the ASIS Certification Code of Conduct
• Agree to abide by the policies of the ASIS Certification programs as outlined in the Certification Handbook.

*Definitions for these terms can be found in the Certification Handbook.

*The ASIS Foundation will communicate with selected recipients

so that appropriate tax forms can be completed. Once appropriate

tax forms have been received, it will take two weeks to provide the

exam gift voucher. 

Please note that the gift voucher does not guarantee that the

recipient will achieve certification. The gift voucher provides the

selected recipient with the opportunity to go online and apply for

the ASIS CPP or PSP certification at no cost.*
